March Sketch Challenge at Anna's Craft Cupboard.

Loving all the sketch challenges and can't go past the great one at Anna's Craft Cupboard this month. Sketch by the very talented Wendy Smith why not give it ago Here!!

And here is My take on the Challenge...
Love these pics of my Boy and his love for our Boxer Arlie. Was actually watching the play this morning and was trying to remember what it was like before we had dogs a couple of years ago. How different it is for kids to grow up with animals, Such a great companion for him!!
On this LO I have used Echo park a boys life, RW Laser cuts chipboard title, Dusty Attic chipboard Cog, Kaiser rub-ons, Gummies rubber stickers, Kaiser corrugated tag, Twine, Tim Holtz crackle paint and A Lil' Something fabric heart.
Off to find my next challenge for this month, Scrap that song has a good one this month, Hits song from year or decade of your birth. Lots of good song in 1981!! Which one to pick is the question???
TFL have a great week!!

White with one Feb challenge!

This months challenge at WW1 was to create using lemon and 3 photos. Didn't think it would be that hard but found in my huge stash that I didn't have a lot of yellow stuff, Not sure why guess that yellow is not a colour I usually use i guess.
Well here it is anyway....
My pic has a few shadows on it but I'm sure that you get the picture he he..
On this one I have used Sizzix caged bird die and altered it with paint and embossing folder.
Well have another LO on the go at the moment so will post again soon, I feel a scrappy night coming on!
Thanks for looking

And my take on the sketch
 With the close up
Well I am thinking that it must be just about bedtime, Will go listen to the wind it's rippin it up a bit out there. Love a good storm especially when I don't have to go to work, I have next week off yay. Thinking of heading to Launceston for the day with the kids mmmmm we will see!

New Scrap space pics and a litle share..

Well I thought that I would post some pic of my new space, now I haven't put any pics on the wall and still have a bit of fine tuning to do...But at least I have a space now.

Bella Forever at my side, The dogs have the own space in my room as well consider at least one of the dogs is with me all the time. I'm thinking I will have to put the other bed in the room somewhere as well!
Now no room can be put back together without some addition, I somehow conned my hubby into making me this....
A ribbon holder yay.. now it's nice a neat and easy to access... Thanks Hubby!! I did try to help but he doesn't like me to touch the big power tools (he worries I might cut my finger off).
And just a quick share, I still can't believe that I have got 4 LO completed this week!
This is Jake's 6th birthday, not really in love with this LO but another one for the album and another occasion to remember in the future!

Quick Share

Well now that I finally have a scrap room back the pages have been rolling out (not sure how long it will keep up) I am loving getting surrounded by papers and bling and all things scrappy. I have start a new position at the Bank now, well it is one I have done before but now with the hours changed. I now work from 10-3 monday-friday and find that I am not so tired after getting home from work and have an hour or maybe two before I have to start on tea and other motherly duties (you know the one that never end lol). So I am loving my new time, but I really need to fit in some exercise I guess it's all about balance.

Well enough of my dribble, not sure if anyone actually reads it anyway.....
First LO is one of my Son and my youngest Brother (ok so the youngest one is my son) A great time running around posing for me with their nerf guns. Those parents out there with boys know who much fun it is to find them bloody bullets EVERYWHERE!!!! Argghh drive me nuts picking them up all the time or taking them out of the dogs mouth!

I used Echo park paper and the packaging from the nerf gun, tim holtz cog die, bottle top and fabric flag, embossing labeller.

The next one is a pic of My Hubby and Brother-In-Law on grand final day, they had had a few to drink as they both are Collingwood supporters.

My Hubby really does like this LO I know even though he say he doesn't he he..... Well that is about it for now I should really be getting to bed.... Well getting these kids to be I gotta say I am sooooo over them fighting tonight, Do any of you that read this have the same problem with your children? How do you deal with them? I find it easier to sometimes switch of and let them sort it out themselves.... I think ear plugs would be a great investment right about now!!

Back from MIA

Well I have been so busy in the last part of the year, My beautiful dog Zara passed away in
September after her short struggle with Cancer, Still miss her so much.
We are doing a reno at home and only this last week did we complete the sanding and sealing floor boards and the painting of our 2nd lounge, dining room, kitchen, laundry and hall way. What a massive job that was but soooo glad that it is all done and looks amazing. Lucky that I have a very talented and hard working Hubby or we would never have been able to afford to pay someone to do it for us.... So today I got to move my scrap space back and finally got to do some scrapping for the first time in 4 months OMG I don't think I have gone for so long without scrapping a page. So here is the page I have just completed be nice I am rusty admittedly I did scrap lift one of Wendy Smiths latest pages for inspiration.

I decided to give a challenge ago and found that scrap the girl challenge this month was
MONOCHROMATIC

minimal black and white is allowed, that means, for inks or journalling, or rubons or doodling or the odd small embellishment.

After my dog Zara's passing we did add a new addition to the family, my house has to have 2 dogs. Sooo we introduce Bella to the family another Rottie of course. Bella is now 8 mths old but the photo is her at 4mths old with My boy Jake and my Boxer Arlie so she is a big puppy and reminds me everyday of Zara. I'm sure Zara sent her to me xxx

Well hopefully I will be back soon with some more pics of my scrappy fun! Will upload some pics of my new space soon.
